Once again the press is wrong. First of all, I’ve got 15 days from my announcement to file paperwork with the FEC! Second, I’m not signed to Warner Bros!!! - which simple fact-checking would have revealed. I have recently worked out a unique deal with BMG, Broken Bow, CAA and Live Nation to release music ON MY TERMS. Like politicians write books during their campaigns, I'm planning on putting out music during mine and IT ALL STARTS TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT. It's not a hoax, it's a strategy and marketing 101! No plans for an album or anything else that has been the usual norm in the music business OR politics…..and…..
Senator Stabenow and I do share a love of music, although probably not the same kind. I concede she is better at playing politics than I am so I'll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying, hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like her know that We the People are sick and tired of their bullshit!

bjg_24 I've always enjoyed his music and appreciated his respect for our veterans and efforts to keep his ticket prices down. One of my favorite songs is "Amen." I'm just wondering how someone who says "Can you imagine what it's like to starve to death?" supports a leader who wants to cut foreign aid by 31%. Or can say "And if I get high stop being so uptight" and talk about his "homies at the methadone clinic" and then support an administration that wants to sink us back into the war on drugs era.
But seeing that Mr. Ritchie proudly flies the confederate flag at his concerts with no regard for the hatred and discrimination it represents for African Americans and minorities, and claims to be a patriotic American while cozying up with a Communist colluder in the White House, I guess we can't be surprised if he is fine with lending support to the GOP party that stands against ideals he has espoused in his music.

So, my belief is that after all of our career politicians have had their chance, a fresh perspective like Trump and now Kid may very well be able to undo some of the mess left by what you seem to view as skilled. I am a huge fan of Kid, but what I'm saying isn't coming from a starstruck fan...
